On June 24th I’ll be standing at Cape Wrath, on the North West tip of Scotland intending to hike to the South East coast of England. My hiking direction and route is open to nothing but randomness, with little planning, and to indulge in nothing more than possibililies and suggestion.
Dodging the firing range, playing a patient game, bothies, waterfalls and half way.
A chiselled landscape, valleys converging, a night by the loch and finishing.
The roller coaster, the rewards of hardship, undressing Scotland and back on the Appalachian Trail.
Canal strolls, loose navigation, old drove routes and don’t discount the humble B road.
