Part 1
Gooch Gap mountain Shelter, 25 miles in. A quick look at camp, meet some of the hikers including Dakota the dog who sleeps in a hammock.
Part 2
Day 26 – 300 miles in. The weather breaks, dealing with the damp and realising the AT is not as easy as I thought!
Part 3
Day 45 – Mile 615. Just after the Wapiti Shelter and on the way to Woods Hole Hostel. Still no bears, dodging the rain and waterfalls in the forest.

Plucking up the courage to jump off a bridge into the river

Mile 900. In the Shenandoah National Park approaching half way. Dealing with mosquitos the garlic way and 1000 miles in a pair of boots.

6th June in Harpers Ferry. Rain, umbrellas, juggling down the street and reaching halfway!
Part 7
7th July, into Conecticut, 1641 miles in. Into the third week of temperatures in the 90’s and 100% humidity.
Part 8
27th July in Lincoln, New Hampshire. A look at what gear I was carrying.
Part 9
2nd August in the Mahoosics. Back pain, the 1000 to one rule, and looking forward to the flat bit at the end.
Part 10
9th August. Standing on Old Blue, 240 miles to go, a nasty case of Novovirus and slowing down.
Part 11
22nd August in the 100 mile wilderness. Crossing Big Wilson Creek.
Part 12
27th August and the finish at Mount Katahdin.
