101 Adventurers – And Me?
First up, I was contacted by 101 Adventurers recently, asking if I’d like to look at their website? I did, and it’s pretty good. Somehow, I managed to be included amongst some illustrious dream makers such as Alastair Humphreys, Levinson Wood, Laura Bingham, and James Cracknell.
It looks great, click that picture of me on the South Downs this year to take a look. I’m number 38 by the way, thanks for asking.
Paperbacks make Great Stocking Fillers – If you can fit them in
Second, paperbacks. I’ve read a few articles in the paper this year about our love for the tangible over the electronic. The first example that comes to mind is CD or vinyl music gaining ground on downloads. Reading further, to my surprise (and delight), paperbacks are making a comeback too. Books are my living now, and E-Books remain the most popular way to read, but it’s great to see the paperback, and hardback versions entering the sales fray again.
All of my titles are available as paperback, and you can get them next day on Amazon Prime. A slightly awkward shape for stocking fillers but go on, you can squeeze it in somehow.

It’s that time of year when people spend what they haven’t got, to buy stuff other people don’t need.
. . . it should be ignored because you all need one of my paperbacks for Christmas. You’re worth it.

Those who know me will tell you I hate Christmas. I confess, they’re right. However, you probably love it so I’d just like to say have a good one, and thanks to all who continue to support me and buy my books.
